Happy Birthday, Jess!

My first “Yugen” moment was riding back on a speed boat, watching the sunset in Croatia, when I tapped Jess on the knee and told her we were going to remember this. Apart from the “how is this my life?!” vibes, it was also when I first realized I could call her a friend. Seven months (seven countries and three continents) later and I’m so grateful for our ridiculous experiences (and endless, daily laughter) about princess dresses, elephants, work and life madness, trash cans, trains, fish, giant holes, delivery pizza, bathtubs, water buffalos, insect repellent, you name it. These days, as one of my best friends, I describe you how I explain Japan: wonderfully weird. 😂Happy happy birthday Jpop. Love you!
