The Best Birthday Gift Ever

There are so many things I want to say about this video, which I’ve now watched approximately 1,000 times (and cried each loop). Not only does it have my Yugen family, but my friend Liz reached out to my family back home – complete with Lucy, surprising me beyond belief to see their faces. And selfless superstar Jess worked so hard to put it all together.

I’m absolutely, totally floored by the kindness.

I really want to go on a long, heartfelt, emotional rant (my specialty) but I think the ever-inspiring and captivating Yugen said it best about my hope for my upcoming 29th year that starts next Saturday:

“Honey child, go make yourself some memories.”

I sure, sure am. Last year of my 20s? I’m in with all of my yugie, yugie, yus!
